Timing belt kits or cambelt kits should always be replaced on time, a failed timing belt will most likely damage the engine and cause engine failure which can cost thousands of pounds to repair. Changing your timing belt kit also has the added benefit of increasing the value of your car when it comes time to selling your vehicle.
